Radically Change Your Business Environment with Affordable Glass Office Cubicles

Pre-pandemic, the option of working from home was odd. Sure, some folks had been working from home for years, but most woke up every morning, made their coffee, got the kids/dog set for the day, and were off.

Once the pandemic hit, however, lots of folks went home. They carved out nooks in their homes to work, dealt with kids on tablets and dogs running through the house, and many thought – you know, it might be nice to get back to the office.

Post-pandemic office vacancies are still high, but for the most part, many employees are back at work. But there’s been a cultural shift, and not all employers have taken note. Employees got a taste of working from home, and some liked it. They also understood how they saved both time and the environment to some extent via less movement and less emissions. So employers are posed with a question – how do they make the office more attractive to return to while also becoming a more sustainable and forward-thinking company?

Glass Office Cubicles

The answer is surprisingly simple and affordable – glass office cubicles. The attractiveness of glass is no secret. Glass doors and windows are always welcome additions to any home or office. It is the most elegant way to enclose something with the added benefit of an open, airy feeling and not any exterior cold.

When surveyed, company CEOs cite three primary reasons why they have shifted to glass office cubicles:

  1. Energy Efficiency

Energy efficiency is top of mind for companies due to rising energy costs and to mitigate their ever-present carbon footprint. Glass office cubicles with double-paned glass partitions are an excellent way to insulate against heat transfer. If available, an even better option is low-emissivity (Low-E) glass, designed to reflect heat and reduce heat transfer. Your company’s monthly energy bill will thank you, as will your employees, who recognize the company is doing its part to lessen the effects of climate change.

2) Flexibility

While it might not be the first feature that springs to mind, glass office cubicles are highly flexible. Glass partitions can be easily relocated and reconfigured to accommodate a range of desired floorplans. If your Marketing team suddenly expands from 5 to 8 people, glass office cubicles can easily adapt to the space constraints of the division’s area. Costly renovations are a thing of the past with glass office cubicles, and teams can remain cohesively connected as a result.

3) Aesthetics

As touched on earlier, glass is timeless. There is no better material to construct an aesthetically pleasing office or home than glass. The natural light that glass office cubicles let in is priceless. The alternative would be annoying overhead lights or lamps that do little to brighten an environment. While aesthetics is certainly good to have, the secondary effect of an aesthetically pleasing environment is it lifts the spirits of everyone who uses it. Teams work better, are more collaborative, and the mood is heightened when glass cubicles are employed.

Folks are back in the office or on their way. Make sure your office is renovated to 2024, not 2020, with timeless glass office cubicles
